Project Description: Tranquil Mountain Retreat in Deschutes County

Nestled in the heart of rural Deschutes County, just 20 minutes south of Bend, Oregon, this architectural project is a serene escape designed for those seeking a deep connection with nature. Situated on a 4-acre lot surrounded by towering pines and vibrant sagebrush, the property is a 5-minute walk from the tranquil Little Deschutes River and offers breathtaking views of Mt. Bachelor, the Sisters, and Broken Top mountains.

Project Vision:

The clients envisioned a refuge where they could retreat from the demands of city life, immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the landscape, and create lasting memories with family and friends. The design concept draws inspiration from the timeless simplicity of the classic 'A' frame cabin, offering both a nostalgic nod to traditional mountain homes and a modern approach to sustainable living.
